How To – Tie A Bomb Rig Beginner

The bomb can be deadly way of fishing on commercial fisheries, especially when the weather drops cooler and fish become less active, or when you’re fishing with baits such as loose fed pellets.

You Will Need

Size 11 Snap Link & Swivel

Speed Bead

Inline X-Safe Lead

Rig Scissors
Step 1

Adding the snap link & swivel

Take a Snap Link and Swivel and slide it onto your mainline

Step 2

Tie a Palomar knot

Thread a Guru Speed bead onto the mainline and use a Palomar knot to lock the swivel onto the mainline

Step 3

Trim the knot

Trim the tag end off neatly.

Step 4

Clip on bomb

Attached your bomb of choice to the snap link swivel.

Step 5

Attach your hooklength

Now attach your hooklength of choice and you’re good to go.
