Barbel... Blitzed - Shaun Hodges

Our newest Guru recruit, accomplished all-rounder Shaun Hodges, has enjoyed an amazing trip to the River Wye, for autumn barbel. He joined fellow Guru man Dean Macey and Nigel Botherway for a trip to Gloucestershire, to fish one of the best barbel rivers in the UK.
What’s more, Hinders shop manager Shaun had an incredible session, taking three double-figure fish in three hours! This really is amazing, as while the Wye tends to throw up the odd double, three in three casts is quite unbelievable.
Shaun took his three fish, which came as part of a fifteen-fish catch for the group, on Hinders Blitz boilies, wrapped in Blitz paste. He nicked on PVA mesh bags of crushed boilies and small Elips pellets, soaked in Hinders Barbel Bomb Concentrate.
Shaun tackled up with 10lb Korda SUBline main line, 10-inch 12lb N-Gauge hook links, size-12 Wide Gape hooks and 2.5oz inline leads.
