Don't miss the second episode of TBFO!

Make sure you don’t miss episode two of The Big Fish Off tonight where a former footballer and top DJ battle it out!

The first show in the new series last week was a huge success, with hundreds of thousands of viewers left enthralled as comedy genius Bobby Davro and former EastEnders actor Ricky Groves, both keen anglers, took on three challenges at the famous Bury Hill Fisheries complex in Surrey.

The second episode sees ex-footballer and well-known TV pundit Mark Bright teaming up with Dean Macey to battle it out with fellow sports pundit and legendary garage DJ Spoony, starting off with them both getting to grips with fishing.

In stark contrast to episode one, which saw the teams fishing at a classic old estate lake in the heart of the Surrey countryside, this week they go urban and find themselves at the Walthamstow Reservoirs complex in East London!

This popular fishery provides on oasis of relative peace and tranquillity once you get through the gates, although you are never far from the Police sirens in the distance or the looming tower blocks that overlook the venue!

There are laughs aplenty and loads of banter as the teams catch plenty of fish, with a variety of species putting in an appearance, and some great footage when at times things don’t quite go to plan.

It premieres tonight, Thursday April 14, at 8pm on ITV4, with subsequent episodes shown at the same time every week, plus this show is repeated on Saturday at 7.10pm and then again on Sunday at 10.20am.

If you haven’t already picked up your copy of The Big Fish Off ‘Guide to Fishing’ book, with 248 pages packed full of information and behind-the-scenes stuff from the shows, and priced at just £9.99. It is available in tackle shops now or from: www.korda24.com
