Frankie Gianoncelli joins the Guru team!

We’re very excited to welcome a new member to the Tackle Guru media team and angling consultant stable, in the shape of northern match ace, Frankie Gianoncelli!

The Sheffield based 27 year-old is a member of the renowned Drennan Barnsley Blacks squad, and has represented England at both youth level and in the World Club Championship!

Frankie will be taking the roll of Marketing And Media Co-Ordinator alongside Matt Godfrey and Alex Rimmer, working on our exciting media projects with our team.

Looking forward to starting his roll this week, Frankie told us:

“I’m very excited about the new venture, and for me it’s a very big move! For nearly all my angling life I’ve been a part of Preston Innovations, 12 years in-fact! I send out my massive appreciation to the company and my friends there, and I’m leaving on very good terms. Without them, I wouldn’t have learned my skills and be where I am in angling now!

“I can’t wait to get stuck-in with the Tackle Guru team! The guys and girls there have an amazing vision going forward in every aspect of the business. The media side of things is fresh, fast-pace and growing, and little needs to be said about the products the company produces. I’m great friends with the team through fishing, and can’t wait to get cracking this week!”

Tackle Guru’s Brand Manager, Adam Rooney, added:

“I’m really excited for the Italian stallion joining the Guru Team! We’ve been looking for the right person to work alongside Matt and Alex to allow our media hub to grow, expand and to hit new levels in quality and content. Frankie fits the bill perfect; very knowledgeable and experienced in his field, even though he is still very young. He’s done a fantastic job at Preston Innovations and we really look forward to him working closely with our team.

“Not only is Frankie a great edition to the media team, he is also a well-rounded angler, with a wealth of knowledge having fished at the highest level. He will be another key person in the development of future products and bringing more youngsters into the sport.”
