Ringer Becomes Full-Time Guru!

To kick-off this 2020 fishing year, we’re excited to announce that Steve Ringer Fishing has become a full-time angling consultant for Tackle Guru!

Steve has always played a vital role at Guru, being involved with the brand for 10 years from the very beginning. His diverse range of angling experiences have helped the team at Guru develop, test and bring to the market many of our successful products that help anglers catch a lot of fish. Daiwa and Tackle Guru have a very strong relationship and have done for a long time. We look forward to continue working closely together in the future on some exciting projects!

Now officially ranked the No1 feeder angler on the planet, Steve is an England Feeder International and former World Champion who competes at the highest level worldwide. Our media team are super excited to be following him on many of his future journeys, so that everyone can share these amazing angling experiences, and learn from Steve throughout! At the same time, he’ll be on hand for further product development and vigorous testing with our product development team, to help us to produce the very best we possibly can.

Excited for the big move, Steve said: “I would like to start off by saying a big thank you to Daiwa for their help and support over the last nine years, it really has and always will be much appreciated. I think it’s only fair to say that without this I wouldn’t be in the position I am today and going forward I will be continuing to use Daiwa equipment where appropriate.

“I must add that this isn’t a decision I’ve taken lightly, but having been involved at Guru from the very start they are a company that I will always hold dear to my heart. With this in mind when the opportunity to be more involved came up, it was one that I felt I just couldn’t turn down.”

The whole team are super excited to be working with Steve more closely than ever before! With some key products and ranges set for release this year, and with Steve becoming further involved with Guru events as well as his own angling adventures, it’s a busy year ahead. Here’s to an exciting 2020!
