Fishing Gurus on Discovery Shed!

The new series of Fishing Gurus hits Discovery Shed tonight, with a back-to-back feast for the senses!

The popular coarse-fishing show, fronted by Dean Macey, is on every night this week, from 7pm. Between 7pm and 8pm each night, you’ll get two shows, back-to-back for double the enjoyment!

Here’s a rundown of exactly what you can expect!

SHOW ONE:
Dean Macey sets his stall out for spring tench. The buds are bursting and the tench are fat, and Dean is keen to bank a truly huge tinca from a water that’s been good to him in the past. He shows just how effective his bolt-rig tactics are for these most popular of fish.

SHOW TWO:
The magical River Wye plays host to Dean Macey and Steve Ringer, as they see in the start of the season in search of chub and barbel. Steve and Dean employ very different tactics to bank the prince of the river.


SHOW THREE:
Dean explores the glorious Wye valley, roving between likely looking swims in search of the elegant and powerful barbel. He shows us his favourite tactics to trick barbel and chub from rivers.

SHOW FOUR:
UK duo Adam Rooney and Ali Hamidi take on European pairing Maurice Keulen and Ernesto Kamminga in a carp and match head to head on a venue in Holland.

SHOW FIVE:
Part two of the big UK vs European match. It’s a battle of tactics as the UK visitors aim to take the honours on Eurpoean territory. Who will come out on top in the battle for Continental bragging rights?

SHOW SIX:
Commercial master Steve Ringer takes on former professional footballer, Jimmy Bullard, at Gold Valley Fishery in Hampshire. It’s a little-known fact that, as well as being a talented footballer, Jimmy is also a great angler and a worthy adversary for Steve.

SHOW SEVEN:
Dean Macey tackles a commercial water with a very different tactics to normal. Dean keeps on his toes, creating opportunities for himself and catching carp on a range of tactics.

SHOW EIGHT:
Top UK matchmen Steve Ringer and Adam Rooney put on a bagging-up masterclass, showing us the tricks and edges that help them win matches at home and abroad. Whether you’re an occasional matchman, a hardened competitor or a pleasure fisherman, you’ll learn plenty.
